Dubinsky’s attempts to explain his actions through the prism of journalistic and social activities do not correspond to reality, the SBI said.
The First Deputy Director of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) Alexander Udovichenko said that the investigation into the case on the suspicion of MP Alexander Dubinsky of treason is at the final stage. He said this in an interview Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Udovichenko, Dubinsky’s attempts to explain his actions through the prism of journalistic and social activities do not correspond to reality.
“Dubinsky said that he was a victim of repression and persecution. No, no, and not again. When the court examines the evidence, society will hear a lot of interesting things. Let’s see what it looks like. A representatives of the people from the ruling party hold a press conference on the facts of possible corruption by the senior political leadership of one of our strategic partners This is a tool that is likely to create political turbulence,” said the first deputy director of the SBI.
Let’s recall that on November 10, 2023, the State Bureau of Investigation completed a pre-trial investigation against Dubinsky in the case of official falsification of documents for travel abroad.
In November, the SBU reported suspicions against Dubinsky in the case of transporting men of military age abroad, and on November 13, new searches were conducted on the people’s representative in the case of high treason . After that, Dubinsky was placed under 24-hour house arrest and then taken into custody.
