Russian terrorists have taken away the normality of life and shaken the trust in elders of an entire generation of Ukrainian children, the president said.
Russia’s cruelty to Ukrainian children is evident in its actions throughout the military invasion of Ukraine. This statement was made by President Vladimir Zelensky on Facebook on Tuesday, June 4.
“Today, June 4, we remember the children who became victims of the Russian aggression against Ukraine is the most shameful of the actions that we will not forgive Russia for this,” he wrote.
Zelensky noted that Russian terrorists have taken away the normality of life and shaken the trust in elders of an entire generation of Ukrainian children.
“And many little Ukrainians will never become adults: Russian attacks have taken their lives, thousands more have been kidnapped from Ukraine, deported to Russia and scattered there among strangers and for the most part not having an opportunity to interact with their relatives,” he stressed. .
The President said that “Russia’s attitude towards Ukraine and Ukrainians is a conscious, calculated genocidal policy.”
We remind you that on June 4, Ukraine celebrates the International Day of Innocent Children – Victims of Aggression and the Day of Remembrance of Children Killed as a Result of Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
According to the latest data, since the beginning of the mass invasion in Ukraine, 551 children have died and at least 1,368 have been injured in various degrees of severity.
