Soldiers will disembark at one of five ports and then follow pre-planned logistics routes.
NATO is creating several “land corridors” to transport American troops and armored vehicles to the front line in the event of an all-out European war with Russia. The Telegraph reported it.
It was learned that the soldiers would disembark at one of the five ports and then follow pre-planned logistics routes to avoid a possible attack from Moscow.
As planned, American troops would land in Dutch ports, then board trains and proceed through Germany to Poland.
In the event of a Russian invasion of NATO member countries, American troops would be deployed in the port of Rotterdam and then sent east. However, behind the scenes, steps are also being taken to expand routes to other ports to prevent the land line of communication from being cut by Russian troops.
If NATO forces coming from the Netherlands come under Russian bombing or northern European ports are destroyed, the Alliance plans to engage ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey.
From Italian ports, US troops can be moved overland through Slovenia, Croatia to Hungary, which borders Ukraine.
Similar plans exist to transport troops from Turkish and Greek ports through Bulgaria and Romania to reach NATO’s eastern flank.
We remind you that the Bundeswehr announced the possible timing of Russia’s attack on NATO. We are talking five to eight years.
As retired American General Ben Hodges said, if Russia attacks one of the NATO member countries, it will take two weeks for its allies to come to the rescue.
