Ukrenergo predicts an increase in the deficit in the energy system

The deficit in the energy system was higher than June 3 due to increased consumption due to heat and decreased imports.

On Tuesday, June 4, a deficit in the energy system is forecast throughout the day. Consumption limits will apply in each area. This was reported by the press service of NEC Ukrainergo.

It is known that the deficit in the energy system is higher compared to June 3 due to the increase in consumption due to the heat and the decrease in imports.

Power consumption limits for each area will be in effect from 0:00 to 24:00.

SA Ukrainergo added that if the consumption limits are exceeded, oblenergos will apply hourly shutdown schedules for both industrial and household consumers.

Let’s recall that at the end of May, Ukraine almost doubled its electricity imports and imported a record 448 thousand MWh.

As reported, in one month, power engineers restored electricity to 243 thousand subscribers in four regions.
