In the Odessa region, in 2023, an official involved three military personnel in the construction of his estate. Subordinates spent more than a year building a house for their boss and received additional payments supposedly for performing combat missions on the front line. The State Bureau of Investigation reported this on June 3 on Telegram.
The commander has already been informed of suspicion of exceeding official authority, which caused significant damage under martial law – Part 5 of Art. 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Now he faces a sentence of up to 12 years in prison. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
Let us remind you that the head of the Rivne regional territorial center for recruitment and social support received another suspicion from the DBR, since he did not declare a fortune in the amount of UAH 46 million, namely land plots and real estate.
