Ukrainian air defense shot down 24 of 25 Shahed kamikaze drones launched at night. They were destroyed within the Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd and Vinnytsia regions.
Two missiles – Iskander-K and S-300 – failed to be shot down.
The Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-K cruise missile from Crimea in the direction of the Kharkov region, and an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from the occupied Donbass.
Attack drones were launched from Cape Chauda (Crimea), Yeisk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions – Russian Federation.
The strike was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare equipment.
