In particular, tonight the air defense units of the Ground Forces destroyed at least 15 UAVs of the Shahed 131/136 type. The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Pavlyuk, reported this on Telegram.
Pavlyuk also published a video with footage of the combat work of fighters of the 38th anti-aircraft missile regiment named after General Yuri Tyutyunnik. Soldiers from this unit have hit seven Russian targets since the beginning of today.
Let us remind you that on the night of June 1, the Russians launched a massive air strike on Ukraine. During this attack, the Russians used 53 missiles of various types and 47 Shaheds.
During the anti-aircraft battle, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 81 air targets – fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved.
