This was reported today, May 31, on the Telegram channel of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
It was possible to return the bodies of the deceased Defenders to their native land, in particular from the Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Kharkov directions, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the message says.
It is noted that the transfer of bodies of dead military personnel is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Conventions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the repatriated bodies and remains to designated government institutions.
