This happened the night after the Defense Forces disabled the ferries of the Kerch ferry crossing in the territory of occupied Crimea, which were running to the port of Kavkaz and were used for the military logistics of the aggressor, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The oil terminal near the Kavkaz port was hit by several Ukrainian-made missiles from the Neptune coastal missile system, the General Staff notes.
It is indicated that the results of objective control confirm explosions at the target sites. The accuracy of hitting targets is being further explored.
The complex operation was carried out in coordination with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the General Staff added.
In addition, attack drones of the defense forces hit another oil terminal in the Krasnodar Territory.
“Modern” and “effective” Russian air defense again proved powerless against our missiles and unmanned systems and could not protect important facilities used for logistics and supplies to the Russian army, the General Staff notes. – To be continued…”
Ukrainian journalist Andrey Tsaplienko, in his Telegram channel, citing his own sources, reported that the attack on the ferry crossing and the oil terminal of the Caucasus port was carried out by eight Ukrainian-made RK-360MC Neptune missiles at once.
“Everyone reached the target at about two o’clock in the morning,” the journalist noted.
