It is known that his brother Ticho was the youngest student to graduate from Irvine Valley last year, but he is older than his brother by six months. Now the record belongs to him.
Like her brother, Athena began taking high school classes early and then added classes at a community college through a dual enrollment program.
According to the girl, the diploma is not her main motivation, she just wants to break Ticho’s record, because she is his opponent in everything, including cooking and taekwondo.
Athena’s mother, Christina Chow, said the children were not forced down this path. According to him, they love to learn, and they both achieve high results themselves.
Brother Ticho is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at the University of California. Athena plans to pursue another associate’s degree in music or psychology.
