Pistorius visited the 21st anti-aircraft missile battery to familiarize himself with the progress of the training of Ukrainian Patriot fighters.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius inspected the training progress of Ukrainian fighters on the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. The German Embassy in Ukraine reported this on the social network X.
“Minister Pistorius visited the 21st Anti-Aircraft Missile Battery to see for himself how Ukrainian soldiers are being trained on the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. This is the third time that Germany has trained the military in air defense systems that help save lives life in Ukraine”, the message said.
Let’s recall that on April 13, Germany announced the immediate transfer to Ukraine of another, third, Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
According to media reports, Germany will be able to transfer the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine no earlier than the end of June. The delivery may coincide with the transfer of F-16 fighters.
