A resident of Poltava region, Alexander Kanibolotsky, plans to cover 1 thousand kilometers on a bicycle in 12 days. Thus, he wants to raise money to help the military.

In 2022, Kanibolotsky already made a bike ride from his native Opishni to the city of Baturyn – he rode 500 km and collected 12 thousand UAH. In 2023, he made a bike ride from Opishni to Bucha – covered 850 km and collected 26 thousand 800 UAH.
This time, on a bicycle made in 1982, in sandals and a reflective vest, he planned to cover 1000 km and travel through five regions – Poltava, Cherkassy, Kyiv, Chernigov and Sumy.
People like me will receive very little donation. This is my idea, we need to do something, try something. Well, I won’t collect it, that’s just the way it is, I’m doing my job,” he said in an interview with Public.Cherkassy.
This story shook up the community and they began to collect money to give it to Alexander. For example, lawyer Evgeny Pronin published video conversations with a volunteer and data for collection on his Telegram page.
