France denied the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the issue of sending instructors to Ukraine has been resolved.
Sending French military instructors to Ukraine to train military personnel is still under consideration. This is what the French Ministry of Armed Forces said, AFP reports.
The department recalled that military training in Ukraine was considered one of the priorities discussed after the conference in support of Ukraine, convened by French President Emmanuel Macron at the end of February.
“Like all the issues discussed in other areas, we continue to work on this issue with the Ukrainians, especially to determine precisely what they need,” said the French Foreign Ministry.
Let’s recall that earlier the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, said that France will send its instructors to Ukraine to train the military.
In March, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out sending troops to Ukraine. According to him, Russia cannot be allowed to win this war. Macron also named the conditions for the deployment of troops.
