It is noted that rescuers received a report of a fire on Kanalnaya Street at 14.05.
Previously, a car fire occurred with the threat of spreading to nearby parked cars, the department notes.
The fire was localized at 2:57 p.m. and extinguished at 3:11 p.m. 25 firefighters and five pieces of equipment worked at the scene.
The Informator publication reports that cars parked in a parking area near the Darnitsky automobile bridge caught fire.
Cars were burning in the parking lot right next to the Darnitsky Bridge. According to one version, the fire started at the impound area for storing vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the publication notes. — It’s difficult to extinguish them – the cars are parked close to each other, and they are also heavily overgrown with grass and weeds.
