This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky after a video meeting with the Minister of the Armed Forces of the French Republic Sebastien Lecornu, held together with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, reports the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
I am pleased to welcome France’s initiative to send instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian military personnel,” Syrsky noted.
Syrsky noted that he has already signed documents that will allow the first French instructors to visit Ukrainian training centers and get acquainted with their infrastructure and personnel.
I believe that France’s determination encourages other partners to join this ambitious project. “I thanked Mr. Minister for the friendly support of the French people and military and economic assistance to Ukraine to repel Russian military aggression,” he added.
