From the beginning of the year alone, the Russian military dropped almost 10,000 UAB on Ukrainian soil, the mayor said.
Since the beginning of 2024, Russian troops have dropped approximately 10,000 guided bombs on Ukrainian territory. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on Facebook.
“The enemy attack on the construction hypermarket of the hero city of Kharkov, carried out on Saturday in broad daylight, where hundreds of people could be present, is nothing but another act of genocide of the Ukrainian people of the Putin regime,” said the head of the Ministry of Defense.
Umerov noted that Ukraine needs a more modern air defense and aviation system.
“Just at the beginning of the year, the enemy dropped almost 10,000 UAB on our land,” the minister said.
Let’s recall that on May 25, the Russian military launched two UAB attacks on the Epicenter in Kharkov. At that moment there were more than 200 people in the building. So far, 16 have died.
On the same day, the Russians launched new attacks on Kharkov. The air raid warning lasted over 12 hours in the city.
