The United States will continue to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons and train the Ukrainian military, the American leader said.
US President Joe Biden called Russian leader Vladimir Putin a “brutal tyrant” when speaking about the war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. He said this in a speech to graduates of the US Military Academy at West Point.
The American president confirmed the unwavering support of the United States in the war with Russia.
“We stand by Ukraine and we will stand against a man I have known well for many years, a brutal tyrant, we will not back down,” he said.
Biden stressed that the United States will continue to supply weapons and train the Ukrainian military, but he has not sent US troops to Ukraine.
“American soldiers are not involved in the war in Ukraine. I am determined to keep it that way,” he said.
The US President also recalled that he had warned Putin, confident that NATO would collapse “immediately after I take the oath.”
“I told him in Switzerland:” You want the “Finlandization” of Ukraine. You’re going to get the “NATOization” of Europe,” Biden said.
Let’s remember that in February, Biden called Putin a “crazy son of a bitch” and recalled that the United States should always worry about a possible nuclear conflict.
Putin responded by saying Biden insulted him by saying the future US president was “best for Russia.”
