SpaceX, the operator of the Starlink satellite communications system, is spending significant resources to counter Russian attempts to jam terminal communications. The founder of the company, Elon Musk, announced this on the social network X the other day.
So, one of the users of the social network wrote that Starlink, despite the attempts of the Russians to jam its communications, shows itself better than similar technologies on the contact line in Ukraine.
“Exactly. SpaceX is spending significant resources fighting Russian jamming attempts. This is a complex problem. They managed to turn off all communication systems except Starlink,” Musk wrote in response .
Earlier, the media reported that before the offensive in the north of the Kharkov region, Russia used advanced technologies to create obstacles for Starlink. This seems to have led to new terminal outages on the northern front line.
Also in February, it was learned that the Russian front began using Starlink terminals. GUR later confirmed the data and made the evidence public. According to intelligence data, the Russian Federation receives Starlink terminals through third countries thanks to the so-called parallel import.
