In the Dnepropetrovsk region, an explosive device was discovered in one of the substations. The explosives were defused, the Ministry of Energy reported on Sunday, May 26.
“An explosive device was discovered at one of the oblenergo substations in the Dnepropetrovsk region,” the report said.
Police and sappers were called to defuse the explosive device.
The Ministry of Energy also reported that in the Khmelnitsky region, due to a missile attack, 11.1 thousand subscribers in 13 settlements were cut off. In the morning, everything is healed.
And in the Sumy region, an enemy bullet hit a gas distribution station. No one was killed, no equipment was damaged, and the gas supply was not interrupted.
The Ministry of Energy noted that there are no plans for electricity supply restrictions for the current day, but the situation may be affected by weather conditions, as well as the level of consumption.
“Therefore, we appeal to consumers about the importance of rational and responsible consumption,” the department added.
Let us remind you that during the current spring, the Russians several times deliberately attacked all large thermal and hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine. Due to extensive damage, they were unable to produce as much electricity as before the attacks began. Initially, closing schedules were introduced for industry, and later for the population.
This week, Prime Minister Denis Szmigal promised a “fair blackout.”
