For the first time, the Ukrainian intelligence service used the Sea Baby surface drone equipped with the Grad MLRS in December 2023. Thus, four Russian targets have already been hit by the updated naval drone. The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk announced this on May 23 during the summit of the United24 platform, the SBU press service reported on Facebook.
The head of the special service emphasized that with the help of drones equipped with MLRS, the list of potential targets at sea could increase significantly. Malysh also named the Crimean Bridge as one of his priority targets, which has already been hit twice by the SBU, including with the help of Sea Baby maritime drones.
In total, 11 Russian ships have already been hit with the help of Ukrainian naval drones of the SBU.
Let us recall that the day before it became known that the SBU Sea Baby sea drones with Grad multiple launch rocket systems, together with the Ukrainian Navy, effectively worked from the sea against the positions of the Russian occupiers on the Kinburn Spit.
