An unknown UAV was spotted in the sky over Kazan this afternoon. Local authorities were seriously scared because the alarm was declared and several enterprises were evacuated. Rosaviatsia announced a temporary cessation of operations at the airports of Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. The event was reported by the Astra Telegram channel.
It is noted that the alarm was declared at the facilities of TANECO and TAIF in Zakamye, as well as the WWTP in Kazan. Representatives of the dictatorship said that this was done because of “the possible occurrence of an emergency situation.”
It is also reported that Nizhnekamsk was also attacked by drones. According to the Shot Telegram channel, two UAVs were allegedly shot down by air defense, which attacked the Alabuga special economic zone, where the enemy produces Shahed-type drones.
Let us recall that in April, the Ukrainian Defense Forces for the first time attacked targets with drones in Russian Tatarstan, which is located 1 thousand 300 km from the front line. Power steering drones hit a plant from the Shahed collection of attack drones in the Alabuga special economic zone. The Taneco oil refinery, one of the ten largest Russian refineries, was also attacked.
