China on Thursday, May 23, began two days of “punitive” military exercises around Taiwan. It was reported by Reuters.
Military drills involving the army, navy, air force and missile forces in areas around Taiwan began at 7:45 a.m. (local time). They are conducted in the Taiwan Strait, north, south and east of Taiwan, and in the areas around the Taiwanese-controlled islands of Kinmen, Matsu, Wutsu and Dongyin.
