According to analysts, Russian troops have advanced:
- in the area of the villages of Robotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye region;
- near Paraskoveevka, Netaylovo, Yasnobrodovka, Novopokrovsky, Berestovy and the village of Keramik in the Donetsk region;
- near Zeleny and Bugrovka in the Kharkov region.
Judging by the DeepState map, the Russian military in the Kharkov region has advanced between Glubokoe and Lukyantsy to the south, towards the village of Liptsy in the suburbs of Kharkov. The so-called gray zone has approached the vicinity of Liptsy.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the evening of May 19 that “the situation at the front remains tense, but controllable.” According to the General Staff, the Ukrainian military “continues to resolutely oppose” Russia’s attempts to advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine and is trying to hinder the offensive plans of the Russian Armed Forces.
Let us remind you that on May 10, Russian troops launched a new offensive in the border areas of the Kharkov region. The key directions of the offensive were the border town of Volchansk and the village of Liptsy in the suburbs of Kharkov. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of 12 settlements in the Kharkov region in a week. The Russian military also stated that they had occupied Robotino in the Zaporozhye region, but Ukrainian forces did not confirm the loss of the village.
We are holding back Russian pressure. Thanks to every brigade, every unit. Russia wants to show that it is she who determines what will happen next with the war. Our task is to thwart the Russian attempt to expand the war and not allow the occupier to break both the front and our diplomacy – the way we are bringing a just world closer.
“I thank each and everyone who gives Ukraine the necessary front-line results, protects our state and people, works and supports effectively and on time,” Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wrote in a Telegram on May 20.
