Russian invaders today, May 19, shelled the villages of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkov region – five dead and ten wounded are known.

This was reported by the press service of the Kharkov Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation:
- At approximately 10:30 the Russian military fired at the village. Novoosinovo, Kupyansky district. A 64-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman died. Six civilians were injured, including four women and two men;
- At about 10.50, Russian invaders struck the village of Kivsharovka, Kupyansky district. The central part of the settlement came under attack. A 72-year-old woman and two men aged 59 and 64 died. Another woman and three men were injured.
Previously, the enemy hit the indicated settlements with MLRS, the prosecutor’s office notes.
Pre-trial investigations have been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code).
