As a result of the attack, a serviceman of the RTCC and SP received a stab wound to his hand. The victim was provided with all necessary medical care.
National Police officers detained the attacker. Criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, as well as on the fact of attempted murder. After the final classification of the crime, the suspect faces severe punishment.
The Ground Forces recalled that TCC and SP officials participating in or organizing notifications of those liable for military service, in accordance with the law, are a special subject performing official duties during the legal regime of martial law. Consequently, insulting, resisting or obstructing their activities will have consequences, and violators will be subject to administrative or criminal liability.
The military recalled that the personnel of the TCC and SP, including their security companies, are staffed primarily by military personnel who lost their health in the war and were declared unfit for service in combat units.
