Applicants must also submit their military records in paper or electronic form.
From May 18, foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine will continue to accept applications for consular actions for men of military age. The Foreign Ministry announced this on Friday, May 17.
“During a few weeks of a technical stoppage, specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately updated regulatory documents and made changes to the algorithms of information and communication systems, which became it is possible to bring consular activities in compliance with the Law of Ukraine On changes in some legislative acts of Ukraine on some issues of military service, mobilization and military registration“, said the message.
It is now indicated that, along with the documents required to receive the chosen consular service, applicants must also submit their military registration document in paper or electronic form.
“At the same time, it should be noted that a paper document can only be submitted before the start of the conscript’s electronic account, where everyone can independently generate an electronic document,” said the Foreign Ministry.
We remind you that on April 23, the issuance of prepared documents at foreign passport service branches was suspended. This is due to technical reasons.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the suspension of the provision of services to men of mobilization age in diplomatic institutions is a temporary measure and is related to the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a new mobilization law.
And the next day it was learned that the Cabinet of Ministers had prohibited the issuing of passports abroad to men liable for military service.
As you know, the new mobilization law, which will take effect on May 18, also states that female doctors and pharmacists registered in the military must update their data in the TCC.
