The Ukrainian military lost all video broadcasts on May 10 due to Russian electronic interference.
During the offensive of the Russian invaders in the Kharkov region, the Starlink terminals used by the fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed. This was reported by The Washington Post.
It was noted that Ukraine’s 125th territorial defense brigade, which covers an approximately 43-kilometer section of the Kharkov region’s border with Russia, used reconnaissance drones to daily monitor how the Russian Federation developed the its forces for a possible attack. However, that morning, May 10, all of the brigade’s video feeds were lost due to Russian electronic interference.
According to the publication, the Starlink terminals are out of order. The commander of the brigade’s drone unit said they were completely blinded at one point.
“This is the biggest problem, we did not see how they moved, we only work on the radio or on the phones where they are still working,” said the military.
Earlier, the media wrote that the Pentagon and SpaceX blocked Starlink for the Russians on the front.
Let us remind you that the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov said that Ukraine has found a way that will help significantly limit the ability of the Russian military to use Starlink terminals.
