Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russian troops are creating a sanitary zone in the Kharkov region.
The aggressor country Russia seems to have no plans to capture the Ukrainian city of Kharkov. This statement was made by the head of the Kremlin regime, Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with journalists in China on Friday, May 17.
“Regarding Kharkov, there are no such plans now,” he said when asked.
At the same time, Putin accused Ukraine of the fact that the battle is currently taking place in the direction of Kharkov.
“Regarding what is happening in the direction of Kharkov, it is also their fault (the Ukrainian authorities, – edit.), because they opened fire and continued, unfortunately, to attack residential areas of the border territories, including Belgorod. Well, civilians are dying there. It’s still obvious. They shoot in the very center of the city, residential areas. And I said publicly that if this continues, we will be forced to create a security zone, a sanitary zone,” said Putin, without saying that Russian troops mercilessly shelled Kharkov for the third year.
We remind you that on the night of May 10, Russian troops launched an offensive in the north of the Kharkov region. The enemy captured about 10 villages, mainly in the “gray zone”. Today there are battles for the city of Volchansk.
