At dawn on May 15, the enemy moved forward and tried to break through to the Defense Forces position. The invaders’ command sent two tanks and five armored personnel carriers into the attack. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The fighters of the “Revenge” brigade stopped the enemy’s assault. The border guards first stopped the enemy column, and then managed to destroy the T-64 tank, BTR-82 and about 10 Russian infantry. Shock drones and artillery also steamed away some of the enemies. Those of the invaders who managed to survive fled from the battlefield.
The State National Security Service also showed how their attack UAVs burned a Russian combat vehicle on the outskirts of Volchansk in the Kharkov region. One drone destroyed the grill on an armored vehicle, and the second turned the combat unit into scrap metal.
Let us remind you that near Novomikhailovka, paratroopers of the 79th separate Tauride Brigade destroyed 11 units of enemy equipment in one assault attempt. The enemy sent 17 units of equipment to this attack.
