More than 380,000 Ukrainians have received residence permits in the Czech Republic since the Russian invasion began, and more than 70,000 Ukrainians who arrived have already found work.

According to the Czech Ministry of Finance, more than half of this amount, about 162 million euros, came from state social assistance.

Refugees from Ukraine to the Czech Republic are entitled to an allowance of up to 5,000 crowns (200 euros), which can be paid repeatedly at monthly intervals upon request.
The Czech government says more than 70,000 Ukrainians who have arrived have already found work.
It was previously reported that the Czech Senate had limited the payment of humanitarian benefits to Ukrainians: the benefit would not accrue if the Czech state would provide refugees with shelter, food and sanitation products free of charge.
