The management and command personnel of the units of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Air Force of the Military Space Forces of the Russian Armed Forces have been determined.
Ukrainian intelligence officials have identified who is firing cruise missiles into Ukraine and on Monday, May 13, published a list of identified war criminals along with photographs and key data.
“The operatives and analysts of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine identified the management and command personnel of the units of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Long-Range Aviation Command of the Air Force of the Military Space Forces of the Russian Armed Forces (military unit 06987, Engels airfield, Saratov region) involved in a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine,” the statement said.
The division reportedly included the 121st and 52nd Heavy Bomber Regiments.
121 vbap – military unit 85927, Engels airfield, Saratov region, strategic bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160;
52 vbap – military unit 33310, Shaikovka airfield, Kaluga region, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers.
It was established that the personnel of the division was directly involved in the planning, organization and execution of the shelling of the territory of Ukraine using air-launched cruise missiles X-22/X-32 (Tu-22M3) and X-101/X-555 / X-55 (Tu-95MS/ Tu-160).
“These pilots are responsible for many casualties and destruction in Ukraine as a result of the criminal missile terror they carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation,” the statement said.
