The head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration noted that it is possible to get to Lisichansk by other roads.

It is impossible to move along the Lysichansk – Bakhmut highway, because it is under fire. However, it is possible to get to Lisichansk by other roads. This was stated by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai.

“The Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway is impassable, it is completely paved. But there is still a chance to get to Lisichansk. Every day we carry humanitarian cargo and have the opportunity to evacuate people on a parallel route,” he says.

The military of the Russian Federation managed to advance in several communities in the Toshkovka region.

As Gaidai noted, Ukrainian defenders can really stay away from Zolote. To have no cordon, the commander may issue an order to retreat to another fortified position.

According to the head of the Lugansk OVA, Zolote has been a line of defense since 2014, all the forts there have been shelled for 8 years, and since the beginning of a full-scale invasion, they have been -shell around the clock.

Gaidai stressed that a small part of the Lugansk region remains an outpost.

He noted that the Russians could not pass Severodonetsk for four months, and they needed victory, so they threw all their efforts into the Luhansk region.

Earlier it was reported that according to British intelligence, Russian troops over the past three days had been able to advance towards Lisichansk by five kilometers.

Recall that Russian troops captured two villages in the Luhansk region.
