The house was apparently damaged by fragments of a Tochka-U missile, which was fired by the Russian military, Moscow said.

Russian air defense was involved in the destruction of the entrance to a high-rise residential building in the city of Belgorod. This was acknowledged by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Sunday, May 12.

The military department says the military repelled the attack with Tochka-U missiles, Vilkha multiple launch rocket systems and RM-70 Vampires.

“Fragments of one of the downed Tochka-U missiles damaged a residential building in the city of Belgorod,” Sergei Shoigu’s department issued a statement of regret.

Meanwhile, it became known that in Belgorod there was a repeated collapse in a damaged house – the roof fell on the rescuers.

Earlier on Sunday it was reported that the entrance to a high-rise building in Belgorod was destroyed. After the explosion, all 10 floors “collapsed” there. According to the latest data, 7 people died and 32 others were injured.

We remind you that on Saturday several “arrivals” were recorded in Belgorod. Today, Russian media wrote that one person died and another 29 were injured.
