The occupiers published a video online of the moment the dam was hit. Probably, in this way the aggressor wants to complicate the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the border in Volchansk.
According to media reports, the enemy could have gotten into a temporary pedestrian crossing for locals, made in 2023.
The Kharkov Regional Military Administration has already responded to the situation. The head of the OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, assured that logistics for civilians is now proceeding without any restrictions.
We’ll just take into account the military situation that we have. This is a strategic crossing for us, so we will limit communication along it,” he noted.
He also added that the authorities have alternative routes for the crossing, which were established back in 2022-2023.
Let us remind you that the Khortitsa OSMU reported that counterattacks were underway in the Kharkov region in the direction of the village of Liptsy and the city of Volchansk. The villages of Strelka, Pilnaya, Borisovka, as well as the Oleynikovo and Ogurtsovo areas are actually in the gray zone – there are battles there.
