Nazariy Grintsevich, the youngest “Azovian” captured by Russia, died on May 6 in battles with the enemy.
Farewell to the fallen 21-year-old “Azov” Nazariy Grintsevich under the pseudonym “Grinka” took place in Vinnitsa on Friday, May 10. The man died on May 6 in the direction of Lugansk in the Serebryansky forest, defending the country. This is stated in Suspilny’s material.
A funeral service for the dead soldier was held at the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral. The media said that several hundred people came to the service: relatives, siblings, friends. Those gathered made a short speech about the deceased.
After the funeral service, the farewell ceremony for “Grinka” began at the Niva stadium, where hundreds of people also gathered.
Fallen military man Nazariy Grintsevich was buried on the Walk of Fame in Sabarovskoye Cemetery.
Before the whole Russian invasion, “Grinka” was a fan of the Niva football club.
Nazariy went to defend Ukraine at the age of 19. In Azovstal he was one of the youngest defenders. After that, he faced more than four months of captivity, homecoming, rehabilitation and war again.
