The newspaper Die Welt writes about this.
Schulze traveled to Kyiv by plane, car and train.
But Svenja Schulze was in for a surprise. The visit to Ukraine was overshadowed by the completely unexpected dismissal of her most important interlocutor, the German publication writes, adding that Kubrakov “only managed to give her a necklace with a white dove of peace, which she then wore during the visit.
As part of her visit, Schulze was supposed to prepare with Kubrakov a conference on the restoration of Ukraine, which will take place in Berlin on June 11-12.
Therefore, the minister called the cancellation of the meeting “a very, very sad fact for myself personally.”
On May 9, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Alexander Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
The leadership of the faction and the head of government, Shmigal, did not discuss this decision with me. “I was not invited to the meeting of the faction and the relevant committee,” the ex-minister wrote.
It is the ministry that can again be divided into two departments – the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Regional Policy. Kubrakov will probably head the Ministry of Infrastructure.
