The security service neutralized a network of pro-Kremlin propagandists operating in different regions of Ukraine. The SBU press service reported this on Thursday, May 9.
The attackers publicly justified Russia’s armed invasion and called for the seizure of all Ukrainian territory. To carry out information sabotage, the defendants created dozens of special profiles on YouTube and popular social networks.
So, in Kyiv exposed a local resident who praised Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Russia’s war against Ukraine.
In order to spread enemy propaganda, he registered an anonymous page on TikTok, where he published his anti-Ukrainian messages. The overwhelming audience of the Internet resource is residents of Russia.
In these articles, the authors popularized the former Soviet Union and called for its revival. To maintain secrecy, members of the enemy underground acted separately and signed their “letters” with different pseudonyms.
Another supporter of Russianism was detained in Kharkov, who on his own YouTube channel praised the Soviet regime and promoted communist symbols.
Investigations into the exposed facts are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
We remind you that earlier the SBU exposed six agitators of the Russian Federation, among them a blogger from the pool of Viktor Medvedchuk.
