The KRAKEN special forces reported this on May 7.
This unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense has been defending the Ukrainian city of Chasov Yar for a month now, among other Ukrainian defenders.
KRAKEN showed a video from the battle scene.
Already in a month, the active action unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry KRAKEN has been defending the city, which has become one of the symbols of the courage and perseverance of the Ukrainian army. The soldiers heroically hold the defense, daily destroy numerous enemies, burn enemy armored vehicles and take prisoners. The enemy is trying to advance in different directions, but thanks to the coordinated work of the unit, there is not a single occupier in the city yet,” the unit commented on its video.
Over the past week and today, the situation around the city has not changed; active hostilities continue day and night. However, Russian propaganda periodically makes information that the army has already entered the city. There have been no territorial gains by the enemy there in recent days. There is no enemy Russian army in the city.
The speaker of the OSUV “Khortitsa” spoke about this on May 6.
Nazar Voloshin also added that “the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not blow up the bridge across the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal.”
Russian troops are increasingly trying to storm the city of Vremya Yar, which is located at a height and could potentially open the way to such important cities as Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Kramatorsk.
