A meeting of the military delegations of the two countries took place in Moscow to resolve the food crisis and evacuate ships with grain blocking Ukrainian ports.
Turkey announced the “first concrete result” of negotiations on the Russian side to unblock Ukrainian ports for grain exports. This was reported on June 22 by the Anadolu agency.
It noted that the meeting of the military delegations of the two countries in Moscow was held “in a constructive and very positive atmosphere.”
According to the agency, the parties discussed the evacuation of cargo ships with grain from Ukrainian ports and reached an agreement on negotiations between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN.
In the near future, separate talks will take place with representatives of Kyiv and the UN, and then a meeting of the Quartet in Turkey.
In addition, a few hours after the end of negotiations, the Turkish cargo ship Azov Concordwho had been waiting for several days, left Mariupol.
According to Anadolu, the Turkish ship became the first foreign ship to leave the port city occupied by Russia.
