The average price of gas is calculated using a formula for the purposes of the Tax Code of Ukraine for the collection of rent for the use of subsoil.
In Ukraine in April 2024, the actual cost of gas sales decreased by 4.3% – up to 11,124 hryvnias per 1 thousand cubic meters without VAT. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Thus, gas prices fell for the sixth month in a row.

Let’s remember that by the end of 2023, gas production in Ukraine will reach 18.7 billion cubic meters, consumption – 19.6 billion cubic meters.
As reported by Naftogaz, the current gas price is UAH 7.96 (including VAT) per 1 cubic meter. m for Ukrainian consumers will remain unchanged for at least another year.
