On Monday, May 6, President Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters on the situation at the front, the production of weapons by the Ukrainian defense industry and the supply of weapons from partners. “I just held a meeting at the Headquarters. The first was the commander-in-chief’s report: he was on the front line, he himself reported on the main challenges and needs,” Zelensky said.
The President also heard a report on Ukraine’s own weapons production and recruiting brigade, emphasizing that the maximum is now being done to provide more weapons to military personnel.
“We separately discussed deliveries from partners: delivery times and the possibility of accelerating the actual receipt of weapons and shells from partners. True. Actual. Political decisions should be based on real logistics – the actual receipt of weapons by our soldiers. Everyone involved must now work 24/7 with partners, including from the United States,” Zelensky emphasized.
