French President Emmanuel Macron sees Russia’s nervous reaction to his statements about the possible deployment of Western troops to Ukraine as evidence that this idea is working. He said this in an interview with La Tribune.
The French leader noted that in relation to Russia it is necessary to maintain a strategy of “strategic uncertainty,” that is, not to reveal plans. Macron’s statements that he would not rule out sending troops to Ukraine are part of this strategy.
The French President said that “the security of Europeans is at stake in Ukraine.”
“If Russia wins, in the next second security will no longer be possible, neither in Romania, nor in Poland, nor in Lithuania, nor at home. The range of Russian ballistic missiles covers us all,” Macron said.
Macron was pleased with the Kremlin’s reaction to his remarks about sending Western troops to Ukraine. In his opinion, this shows that the strategy is working.
“The chaos of Russia shows that we are right not to close any doors. Otherwise, it means that we agree to abandon the international order based on law, and therefore peace and security,” said of the French president.
We remind you that the French President Emmanuel Macron has not changed his opinion about the possibility of introducing Western troops into Ukraine. According to him, this is possible under two conditions.
Two conditions. Macron again mentioned the deployment of troops
