Putin must be in a situation where he is not sure what the West will do, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry said.

The owner of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, must be in a situation where he does not know what to expect from Europe. This is what Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said, RMF 24 radio reports.

The Polish official commented in this way on the words of the French President Emmanuel Macron that “he does not leave anything behind” when it comes to the presence of Western troops in Ukraine.

Sikorsky believes that it is correct to put Putin in a situation where he is not sure what the West will do, rather than ruling out certain scenarios in advance.

In addition, when asked if Poland was considering sending troops, he said he would not reveal his cards.

“We will not show our cards. Let the dictator Putin think what we will do. We spend the largest part of our GDP in NATO on defense – 4% and we may spend more next year,” said Sikorsky.

As you know, on February 26, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that some NATO and EU member countries are discussing the possibility of sending their military to Ukraine after concluding bilateral agreements. He hastened to declare that Slovakia “will not take such a step,” but will respect the decisions of NATO countries that agree to send troops to Ukraine.

Subsequently, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about the possibility of sending military personnel to Ukraine, and French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal also did not rule out the possibility of sending French military personnel to Ukraine.

Macron later named the condition for sending troops to Ukraine.
