Law enforcement officials exposed three teachers of a vocational lyceum in Zhitomir who were distributing Kremlin propaganda. This was reported yesterday by the regional department of the SBU.
“Investigators and operatives of the special service collected unconditional evidence of the dissemination of pro-Kremlin narratives by three teachers of an educational institution in the center of the region. The defendants were two teachers who physically education and a foreign language teacher of one of Zhytomyr’s professional lyceums,” the report said.
Yes, the 35-year-old teacher categorically denied the war crimes and atrocities committed by the Russians during the temporary occupation of the Kiev region. He was convinced of the so-called staged nature of the liberation of the occupied territories by Ukrainian defenders. He also called the sanctions against the Russian Federation unfair.
Among the defendants in the case is a 57-year-old teacher, a native of Russia. He accused Ukrainian defenders of violating the rules of war and committing war crimes. He also objected that a lyceum in the center of Zhitomir was destroyed by a Russian missile.
A 47-year-old foreign language teacher shared a similar view with others. He also publicly shifted responsibility and blame for the destruction of Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The SBU investigators informed the defendants of the suspicion of justifying and denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier in Zhitomir, a retired colonel who worked for the intelligence service of PMC Wagner was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The traitor never admitted his guilt, behaved disrespectfully in court and did not hide his pro-Russian views.
