The Russian military could push units of the 76th and 7th Airborne Divisions from the Zaporozhye region towards eastern Ukraine. The enemy may resort to such actions to strengthen and intensify current offensive operations. This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War.
However, ISW has not yet found confirmation that parts of the 76th and 7th VAT divisions were redeployed to other directions. Experts emphasized that any redeployment of Russian paratroopers from the Zaporozhye region to eastern Ukraine requires more careful study in the coming days.
According to analysts, such a strengthening in the Donetsk region will allow the occupiers to put increasing pressure on the Ukrainian Defense Forces, regardless of where they are located. ISW does not predict which area is most likely for the redeployment of Russian airborne forces, if it occurs at all.
Let us recall that on April 30, the Deep State announced that Russian troops had captured Keramik and Novokalinovo near Avdeevka. The enemy also advanced north of Ocheretino. The Ukrainian command did not officially confirm the loss of villages.
