Congratulations to Victoria Shi, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on consular issues, created using artificial intelligence technologies! – diplomats wrote on their Facebook page.
Victoria Shi is based on a real person – Ukrainian singer and influencer Rosalie Nombre, who agreed pro bono to take part in the MFA project and act as a prototype for the representative.
The project team filmed and digitized it.
Victoria Shi’s comments will appear on the official resources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, website and pages on social networks, and the press service will also transmit them to journalists.
Using a digital face generated by artificial intelligence for consular commentary is, first of all, saving time and resources for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ukrainian diplomacy is now strengthening its capabilities and making a technological leap that no diplomatic service in the world has yet made,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs quotes Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
The department warned that the only original videos with Victoria’s statements are those containing a QR code with a link to the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the text of the appeal is posted.
