A complaint against Salaya was filed by lawyer Rostislav Kravets together with a deputy from the banned Opposition for Life Protection Antonina Slavitskaya, the Anti-Corruption Center reported on April 29.
Allegedly, the disclosure of conversations from the judges’ offices damaged the honor, dignity and reputation of these people.
In March, the Third Disciplinary Chamber of the PSA refused to punish Judge Salaya and found that his actions and decisions were entirely within the law. Kravets and Slavitskaya appealed this decision and now the PSA as a whole will review it.
Let us remind you that Judge Salai authorized the installation of NABU wiretapping in the office of the head of the OASC Pavel Vovk. This is how the “Wolf films” appeared.
The evidence obtained in the case played an important role in the liquidation of the OASC and the imposition of American sanctions on Volk, whom we can now see weekly in the dock. So now his friends are trying to take revenge on Salai.
A complaint against him was opened several years ago by the old composition of the GRP. VRP members Pavel Grechkovsky and Larisa Shvetsova, who are also mentioned on the “OASC tapes,” voted for this decision.
Since then, the GRP has been rebooted and the organ has been partially cleansed. Grechkovsky and Shvetsova flew out of the GRP, but Inna Plakhtia remained. She is the secretary of the Disciplinary Chamber, which considered the complaint against Salaya in March. And it was Plakhtiya who at one time repeatedly came to the aid of the Wolf.
In particular, she was a rapporteur in a case involving Wolf’s prosecution of another judge. Plakhta delayed the review and Volk did not bear any responsibility for this.
