Military reconnaissance detected and fired at the enemy’s communication equipment and the latest radar station on Friday, April 26. The operation to destroy the target was carried out by fighters from the Gusy 9 group together with the active operations unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on April 28.
According to intelligence information, the invaders began using Burdock only in 2022. The cost of this radar is almost 10 million rubles. or 100 thousand dollars.
This station was supposed to detect small air targets, including drones. It seems to detect UAVs at a distance of up to 15 km and at an altitude of up to 5 km.
Let us remind you that the Main Intelligence Directorate hit the newest Russian radar 48Ya6 K-1 Podlet. The scouts hit the antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that powered the complex. This radar station is relatively new, as it began to appear in the Russian army in 2015. Its cost is more than 5 million dollars.
The enemy used this system to identify and transmit the coordinates of targets to its S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
