Prime Minister Denis Shmigal recognized the construction process of military engineering, technical and fortification structures near the state border in the Volyn region. He announced this on Telegram on Saturday, April 27.
“We are working in Volyn today. We have identified the process of building military structures and fortifications near the state border,” Shmigal wrote.
The Prime Minister heard a report from the head of the OBA. According to the head of the region, the work is carried out in coordination with the military and in accordance with the schedule.
Shmigal said that the construction of defense structures and fortifications is one of the state’s priorities and part of the responsibility of the regional chairmen.
The head of the government recalled that a total of almost 38 billion Hryvnias have been allocated for the construction of fortifications. In particular, 3.4 billion is provided for the Volyn region.
Let’s remember that in January the government allocated a record amount for defense lines. The money was used for the construction of engineering and fortification structures, equipment and a system of non-explosive fencing.
