The previous discounted rate expired on April 30, so it has been extended until May 31. The cost of electricity for household users remains unchanged – 2 UAH 64 kopecks. per kW. The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers on April 26. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this on Telegram.
According to him, the provision on imposing special responsibilities on participants in the electricity market will be extended until May 31.
The head of government noted that despite ongoing repairs around the clock, there remains a significant deficit in the energy system. The authorities are installing mini-CHPs in different cities, strengthening the energy system due to its decentralization, but it is quickly impossible to restore everything destroyed by the Russians.
I urge Ukrainians to use electricity carefully. Help our energy workers, help our energy system. Consume electricity responsibly,” he emphasized.
Let us remind you that NJSC Naftogaz stated that the price of gas for the population will not change until April 30, 2025, because the fixed tariff has been extended. The price remains at 7.96 UAH. per cubic meter m (with value added tax).
